About Me

My name is Alexa Dull

My pet care journey commenced four decades ago during the late 1970s. I was known as "that kid" in the neighborhood, entrusted with the responsibility of tending to various animals while their owners were away. My initial client boasted a sizable and lively flock of ducks, requiring me to corral them indoors each evening and search for their eggs, with a particular focus on their dietary needs.
One memorable client was a remarkably large St. Bernard, towering over me despite my relatively small stature. During my Junior High years, I dedicated my time to volunteering at Potter's Animal Shelter, where my duties included walking and bathing dogs. Subsequently, my involvement in 4H introduced me to working with horses, a passion that endures to this day.
Over the years, I have tended to dogs, horses, goats, cows, and chickens for various individuals, occasionally caring for a squirrel or two. Concurrently, while raising my family, I managed a small farm hosting a menagerie of animals.

As my children have grown, I have downsized to caring for two dogs and two cats. I currently volunteer at a local animal shelter and sanctuary in Pleasant Valley, where we provide care for dogs, cats, cows, and even the occasional skunk

The Meet and Greet

All services require a meet and greet ahead of time. This is of no cost or obligation to you and will be anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour.

We will assess the farm or care required, meet the pets and will have a good understanding of your requirements. I like to keep the pets as close to their regular schedule as possible. This also allows to see their home, if they have anxiety or any issues we might need to address ahead of time to provide the smoothest visit as possible.

Once we have met with you and your pet(s) and can ensure all parties feel it's a good fit, we can give a quote on the cost for care.
